The Museum of Anthropology

Around the world in 80 minutes

A cape made of Ibis feathers, an apron made of llama fur, waterproof cloths made of whale bladder, these and stranger objects are in the Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography. Found in Asia, Africa and America these objects talk about farway wolds and different customs. The Anthropological and Ethnographic collection is part of the Museum of natural History of Florence. Come visit its extraordinary exhibition of objects of the Native Americans, Eskimo, Bushmen, Polynesian and other ethnic groups.
The visit illustrates the history of these communities, because geograhy is not made just of maps, but of people! What is the reason why in Africe zebras were not used the same as horses?
If you want to know the answer to this questions and go around the world in 80 minutes this is the museum for you!
