The Specola Museum preserves one of the most ancient collections of natural history in Italy. From the hall of the skeletons to the museum rooms, rare species are exhibited such as the duck-billed platypus and the thylacine also called Tasmanian Tiger. Then are the sections with the insects and the herbivorous and the carnivorous animals. Have you even seen how big is a polar bear or an hippo? Be surrounded by funny monkey in the Primates room or by multicoloured feathers in the Tropical birds room!
